Show & Tell:
Light Sabers & Legos---things I know WELL, with my 3 boys:)
Handwriting & Coloring Worksheets:
You will probably notice improvement over this semester in their coloring and handwriting over time, but we are really focusing on NAMES from now until Christmas! Find opportunities to practice at home with them as well. Make it fun! Spell their name with marshmallows or cereal or use their finger in shaving cream smeared on the counter! If they WANT to write it, the more they will enjoy learning those letters:)
Arts & Crafts:
Lady bug Craft
We PAINTED with black and red and made little LADYBUGS from small paper plates.
Literature:
Lion King - they loved listening to this story & most were excited to say they had seen the movie too:)
Circle Time:
"Look at me" - we passed a round a mirror to LOOK at ourselves and pointed out 5 things that we saw in the mirror! We all saw different things and everyone is SPECIAL in their own way!
Outdoor Play:
Leap Frog Fun!! We started jumping over kids but it proved difficult with their little legs, so we found some orange cones to jump over, which worked much better;)
Science:
We went on the hunt for FALLEN LEAVES! Fall isn't quite here in Mesa I guess, because we couldn't find too many on the ground, but we did pull a few off the trees to talk about them and their different colors and shapes and sizes!
Music:
We enjoyed the song/game "London Bridge" - they LOVED locking each other up!
LIMBO- we are going to have to do this again, because I didn't get pictures and they LOVED it!!
