My Pre-K Curriculum focuses on preparing young children for Kindergarten, as we focus on the following seven areas:
(1) language and literacy
(2) mathematics
(3) science
(4) physical development
(5) health and safety
(6) social and emotional development
(7) the arts
Each week we will focus on 1 letter of the Alphabet & our theme will be centered around that letter. I base my lesson plans around read aloud books, phonics, letter recognition, number recognition, colors, shapes, fine motor skills, logic skills, large muscle movement, singing, arts & crafts and daily calendar and weather.
