Merry Christmas!

We had such a FUN week at preschool, celebrating Christmas which is coming soon!
Monday we made candy cane ornaments...

and painted our noses RED so that we could sing Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer!
Wednesday, SANTA made a House Call at our preschool!!!
We were singing songs & I told them to sing loud enough that Santa would be able to hear them at the North Pole & half way through the song...Santa walked in, saying HO HO HO!
The kids were in shock... :)
Class picture with Santa Clause!
Everyone got a turn to sit on Santa's Lap(or stand next to Santa if they were a bit nervous) ;)
and Santa gave the kids a Coloring Book for being such good boys & girls!

He even stayed and sang a few songs with us!
Before Santa's arrival, we played "Don't Eat Pete" with M&M's. Each child got to take home their own game card, so they can play at home. You can use anything, cheerios, candy, goldfish & then have one person leave the room and choose a "Pete". When the person returns, he/she slowly picks up the candy one at a time, until she reached "Pete" & the kids shout "Don't Eat Pete!" Have fun playing at home over the Christmas Break with your kids!
We made reindeer cupcakes that they got to take home to eat after lunch...
And we filled up Santa's beard from Dec. 1-15...
Help your child add a cotton ball each day & when Santa's beard is FULL...it will be CHRISTMAS!!

Hope you all have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
I will see you in 2011!
