We talked about the letter X last week! And while there are not a lot of words that start with X, we talked about the sounds it can make and different words that BEGIN or END with X. We took "X-ray" shots with the x-ray camera app on my ipad and they had a lot of fun with that! We talked about why doctors would need to X-ray part of your body and how they might fix broken bones. In Arts & Crafts, we decorated a template of a person to look like us & then when you lifted it up, you could see our "bones". Q-tips made perfect bones and they enjoyed making these.
Lunch time is going great & I really think it helps get them excited for Kindergarten next year and eating at school! I can't believe we are almost to the end of the alphabet, which means we are almost to the end of the year!
